Professional Experience 

Director of Coaching, Head Coach, Rapids SC – Twin Falls, Idaho 2012 - 2024
● Responsible for all coaching operations for the club, including training, budgeting, and evaluation of the coaching
staff, for U9 through U19 age groups and direct support of ISL and Premier teams.
● Establishing the club philosophy of play, organization of annual tryouts, formation of teams and coaching assignments
, and coaching education.
● Attendance at board meetings and presentations to the community regarding club matters, business, and sponsorship.
● Serve as the primary contact for Club matters with Idaho Youth Soccer and US Youth Soccer.
Idaho Youth Soccer Association, Head Coach, Olympic Development Program | Idaho 2016 – present
● Responsible for all aspects of the program, including recruitment, tryouts and selection, training sessions and game
management.
● Working with the team manager for team travel, team budgeting, and any off-field activities and training.
● Interaction with regional and national coaching staff regarding player recommendations to regional and national ID
Camps.
Idaho Youth Soccer Association, Region IV Director | Idaho 2018 – present
● Supporting area clubs and programs in central Idaho, from Glenns Ferry to Burley and Sun Valley to the Nevada
border.
● Organize regional training sessions for potential Regional and Olympic Development State Pool players.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for regional clubs regarding IYSA issues and concerns.
United States Soccer Federation, National Coaching Educator/Instructor | United States 2023 – present
● Instructor of US Soccer to issue 7v7 through 11v11 Grassroots Licenses to students upon completion.
● Teach courses in multiple modalities, including virtual, hybrid, and in person formats.
● Design courses for former players, parents, and volunteers on how to take the first steps into becoming coaches.
● Proficiency in such topics as Adult Learning Theory, Cognitive Load Theory, and US Soccer’s Coaching philosophy
and curriculum.
Idaho Youth Soccer Association, Region IV Technical Advisory Committee Member | Idaho 2022 – present
● Advise, develop, and implement IYSA policies and procedures, along with other club leaders from the major clubs
throughout the state, on issues such as poaching, membership requirements, Idaho State League, and requirements.
● Serve on the IYSA disciplinary committee to review club, team, and player conduct violations and provide
recommend sanctions and other disciplinary actions.
● Interaction with the State Referee Association in the interpretation and application of the laws of the game for Idaho.
